What is this page change detection stuff, and why do I need it?
So, you run a few websites (or more than a few!) Everything is going well, and then in the middle of the night a client calls you up and tells you that the website for their online store is hacked. There are warnings in every browser with big warning signs saying that their site is dangerous, and they are losing money by the hour because they can't make sales. You roll your eyes because you know that Google Webmaster Tools has blacklisted the site, and you know that even if you find the malware and fix the site immediately, it'll be days before the site is listed as normal again and people aren't getting warnings every time they try to get to the site.
Or, maybe you'd like to know when your clients update their website using the CMS that you set up, so that you can make sure that things are working properly.
What if none of your websites ever got blacklisted again? What if you could be notified of changes on your website so that you can fix them before Google Webmaster Tools even makes it back to your site? What if you could visually see exactly what was changed so that you could track down the offending code? What if you never got a call from a client about a hacked site ever again?
That's what Are My Sites Changed is all about. It detects changes in the HTML of your web pages and alerts you when/if changes happen, so that you'll be the first to know about any changes on your sites.
